For Sale: 1968 23 Foot Voyager Motor Home A Cherished One-Owner Family Treasure Price: $19,900 (Price Just Reduced!) This is not just a motorhome its a piece of family history. This 1968 Voyager Motor Home was built by Woods, a division of Forest River, and has been in our family since it was purchased brand new by my mother and father in 1969. It features the dependable Dodge 318 V8 engine and has truly stood the test of time, with all-original interior and exterior. Lovingly cared for, this RV was never used hard as a traditional camper. It served more as a roving hotel room for our large family on cross-country adventures. On trips, we often plugged it in at hotels rather than using the generator, and used the hotels facilities meaning the onboard kitchen and bathroom saw only very light use. As a result, the original fixtures are still in great condition. Interior Highlights: Sleeps 6 comfortably Rear bathroom with toilet, bathtub/shower, and closet Four fold-down bunk beds in the center section that convert into sofas Kitchen includes gas stove burners, oven, dual sink, and refrigerator Dinette that converts to an additional bed Two captains chairs up front for the driver and copilot Mechanical Notes: Odometer reads 9,000 miles, likely 109,000 (past mechanical limits) Just received over $9,000 in updates including: Six brand new tires New battery Numerous mechanical improvements Dual rear wheels for added stability This Voyager traveled all over North America from Massachusetts beaches to the Texas plains, the Oregon coast, the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and even round trips to California. After 1981, it was rarely used, and by 1990 it was parked for good in my mothers barn, where it remained safely stored for over three decades. Now at 95 years old and settling into retirement home life, my mother has asked us to clear out the barn. Its time for this special motorhome to find a new home with someone who appreciates its quality and legacy. A rare find in original condition ready for restoration, preservation, or just to be loved by a new family.
